That’s Not My Name by Megan Lally, also available in audiobook.
This is a suspenseful story with a “wrongly accused” protagonist.
Drew, the boyfriend, is framed for his girlfriend Lola’s disappearance.
He’s in a race against time to find her before the authorities assume guilt.
Key questions to explore:
Did Lola run away on purpose, or was she kidnapped?
Who might want to frame Drew?
Can Drew find Lola and clear his name before it’s too late?
The story was gripping, and the ending was shocking. Fast-paced, this was a book that was difficult to put down. I struggled when reading from Drew’s POV, however I did get used to his voice and thoroughly enjoyed this story and even shed a tear at the end.
